The Basic Process of Oil Filling Machine

Oils are extracted from different natural resources. Oil can be extracted from groundnut, melon, mustard seed, palm fruit, palm fruit, and all other natural resources.

Everybody uses oil for one purpose or the other. Some use it for cooking, frying, and baking, among others. Some oil is meant to be applied to the body, hair, electronics, and so on.

The oil filling machine can be used for the manufacturing of all types of oil used daily by every user.

In this article, I will implore you to get sit, relax, and get popcorn or anything to chew while reading. I will take you through some basic processes of an oil filling machine.

Process of oil filling machine

The oil filling machine uses vacuum filling pressure which ensures high efficiency and effective use of the machine. Below are the basic process of using an oil filling machine.

The Filling

The oil filling machine fills the bottles slowly with low pressure. Each bottle is placed under each filler. When the oil gets filled to a certain level the conveyor moves the filled bottles to where they will be properly sealed.

All bottles will be moved to the sealing process because the major objective of the filling process is to fill the empty bottles with the required oil, up to a certain level.

The Sealing

The main function of the sealing arm of the machine is to cover/seal tightly with caps. This is done to prevent the oil from spilling over.

When goods are in transit if they are not properly capped can spill off and other germs can as well find their way into the product. The next stage is labeling.

The labeling

Labels/brand helps customers with easy identification of products, how they will be used, what is used for, and the expiring date, among others. The machine places a label on each of the bottles. Once the labeling stage has been completed the next stage is the packaging stage.

The Packaging

This is the final stage of the oil filling machine. The machine picks the bottles that have been filled, sealed, and labeled into a carton or any other container that the machine is being set to use.

Once it has been filled the carton will then be sealed up/wrapped up by the machine.

The Delivery

The delivery process can be made depending on the market size and the brand of such product. If the manufacturer has a larger market size/market share, such products can be taken to various destinations within and outside the country.

Difference Between Blow Molding And Injection Molding

Blow molding and injection molding machines are very important when you want to redesign or manufacture disposable and reusable plastic products that are generally used worldwide.

Materials used for the manufacture of these plastic products vary based on the applications which range from polyethylene to polymers, polypropylene, polycarbonate, and thermoplastic. The products you achieve with these materials depend on which method your use either blow or injection molding because they differ in process.

Injection and blow molding are the best methods used for manufacturing quality plastic products, before purchasing this bottle blowing machine you should consider checking out the difference between them and how they will be suitable for your needs. A quick guide to making you understand the difference is listed below.

1. What’s Blow molding and Injection molding

The blow molding process follows the processes used in glass blowing manufacturing, in which the blowing molding process is designed to produce high volume, single pieces of hollow objects.

If you intend to manufacture bottles in large quantities then this process is best for you, it manufactures a uniform, thin-walled container which is suitable for economic usage.

The injection molding process requires a series of detailed engineering machinery to develop quality mold products. These plastic products are produced from stainless steel or aluminum when the mold is injected with the liquid polymer at an extreme temperature under high pressure which is allowed to cool down so that the plastic products will be completely released.

2. Processes of Blow molding and injection molding

During the blowing process, the plastic tube will be heated and the air is filled in the plastic tube so that it becomes a ballon of hot plastic usually called parison then it is clamped around it and the air is filled continuously until it attains its given shape.

The size of the bottle blowing machine and the cost of production of the mold are determined by the weight of the plastic shot used for the molding process, the blow molding is designed freely between the mold halves because the mold halves comprise its wall shape.

Quality control of the materials used for the blowing molding process is essential and is very important you look out for a supplier that understands how to measure, monitor, and inspect all the processes accurately, especially those trained to do it.

The injection process is always done for the production of high volume parts and mass production of parts that are of the same type, the precision for the mold halves must be high so that the material could flow in perfectly.

The injection mold manufacture begins when the mold is successfully created, if the mold isn’t finalized properly then the injection won’t begin and the key to quality products using injection mold is to first create a mold for perfect precision parts.

3. Advantage of injection and blow molding

Blow molding

  • Blow molding cost is lower compared to injection molding
  • Machinery cost is lower compared to injection molding
  • It can achieve shapes that injection molding cannot.

Examples: Bottle water, shampoo bottle, other small bottles, automatics parts, and other hollow types of parts.

Injection molding

  • Precise and can be efficiently used for the production of large volume parts
  • It’s flexible and can easily change the color and type of materials used
  • Efficient materials are always used and the rate of scrap is low

Liquid Molding Vs Injection Molding

Many materials produced in the plastic industry are fabricated either by using a liquid molding or an injection molding machine.

The choice of which to use when trying to mold a plastic material depends on several factors including the shape and size of the material, the desired strength, and the cost of production.

If you fancy learning about the similarities and differences between liquid molding and injection molding, then you’re at the right place!

Stay focused as we walk you through the pros and cons of liquid molding and injection molding.

Pros of Liquid Molding

Here are the advantages of liquid molding in the plastic industry.

Cost Effective

Liquid molding is more cost-effective than any other type of molding including injection molding and compression molding. It can be fully automated, hence the cost of hiring labor is reduced.

Liquid molding enables automobile body panels and other custom shapes to be built at a relatively cheap cost.

Liquid molding is also easily repeatable. This means there will be consistency in the materials produced.

Eco-friendly

Liquid molding leaves no waste products and contaminants in the environment. The molding process is performed in a closed system which prevents the release of toxic materials into the environment.

The closed system also ensures that the final product is free from contamination from the environment. Hence, liquid molding can be used for making medical appliances that require high purity levels.

Cons of Liquid Molding

The disadvantages of liquid molding include:

Complexity

Liquid molding is a complex process that requires expertise. The operator must ensure that no contaminant passes into the molded material during the process. Hence, great precautions must be taken.

Choice of Materials

It is quite challenging to choose materials to be used for liquid molding. A wide range of polymer resins is available to choose from.

Also, the simultaneous use of two different plastic materials as Polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) may be problematic.

Pros of Injection Molding

The advantages of injection molding include:

High output

Injection molding is a relatively fast process that can produce large amounts of materials in a few hours. It is an automated process that functions efficiently by using interconnected machines and robotics.

The automation gives a high speed, hence a large output of up to thousands of parts can be manufactured by this process before the tools wear out.

Increased material strength

Injection molding enables fillers to be inserted into the molding materials. Fillers enhance the strength of the plastic material by reducing its density while it is being molded.

Cons of Injection Molding

Here are the disadvantages of injection molding.

High Cost

The cost of injection molding is relatively higher than that of liquid molding. The process involves tooling, designing, and testing which are all costly.

An initial prototype of the material will be made via 3D printing and subjected to extensive testing before eventually producing the original material.

Design restrictions

Injection molding is a process that requires you to follow basic guides. If any of those guides are violated, you may not obtain a desirable product.

Partner with us for a premium Injection Molding machine

Each of the processes has its pros and cons. The choice of which to use depends on your preference.

On the one hand, if you want to minimize the cost of production, you may consider choosing liquid molding. On the other hand, if you prefer to produce materials with high strength, then injection molding is a better alternative.

Nevertheless, ensure you get high-quality molding machines for either of the processes. You may contact us to get the best molding machines by clicking here to check out our products and services.
